  • I am currently an Assistant Professor of Operations and Information Management at School of Business, University of Connecticut (UConn). Prior to joining UConn, I was an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Management from Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis and B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. 

  • My general research agenda lies in the interface of operations, finance, and economics. In particular, I am interested in studying the economic and social implications of emerging technologies and identifying effective designs and policies for innovative markets and platforms. My recent research focuses on the following areas:

    • Generative AI (economics of GenAI, foundation models, GenAI on workforce, AI supply chain)

    • Blockchain (smart contracts, asset tokenization, crypto markets, Web3, DAOs, DeFi, GameFi)

    • Supply Chain Finance (reverse factoring, trade finance, deep-tier SCF, sustainable SCF)

    • FinTech (market microstructure, FinTech lending, open banking, social trading)

    • Data Economics (GDPR, consumer privacy, differential privacy, data markets)

    • Digital Platforms (crowdfunding, social learning, livestream commerce, creator economy)
